The Cool for School Program helps reduce bullying and improves a child self-esteem, confidence and ability to focus more in the classroom by ensuring underprivileged children ages 5-18 are prepared for the new school year.

Ready to Learn

Students are provided with essential school supplies to ensure they begin the school year prepared, confident, and focused on learning from day one. Each kit is thoughtfully packed based upon the child’s grade level school supply list.

Confidence Closet

The Confidence Closet is a partner agency referral base program (DSS, School Social Worker/ Counselors, Richland County First Steps, etc.) that ensures children enrolled in Title 1 schools within Richland 1 and 2 school districts are prepared for the new school year. Students are provided with new, age-appropriate clothing to wear during the first week of school. Each student receives 3 coordinated clothing sets to include undergarments and shoes. The goal is to remove barriers, boost self-esteem, and support a positive start to the school year.

The Village Collective

A mentorship and leadership development program designed to support school age girls through consistent guidance, life-skills education, academic encouragement, and positive community engagement.

Rooted in the belief that no young person succeeds alone, The Village Collective brings together mentors, educators, families, and community partners to create a strong support network around every student.
